:-p My Kindle is still working fine, both under Windows and Mint.
A couple of days ago, Windows surprised me by spontaneously detecting errors in the Kindle drive. This was verified by Acronis True Image. I ran TI and allowed it to correct these mysterious errors; after a lot of drama, it wound up dumping 490 faulty files into a new folder that it created called "Lost", which I accessed via Mint. I deleted it and it's been smooth sailing ever since.
Is this weird? I just want to *read* for (
insert your favorite curseword)'s sake.
Uhmm.... any ideas on how I can get the text-to-speech and audibles back?
