Meanwhile, I finished
Grantville Gazette V. This was a large "Best Of" collection of stories from the Grantville Gazette stories of Eric Flint's
Ring of Fire series that begins with
1632, a book in the Baen Free Library.
As with all such Fanzine collections, this was a bit uneven, but really much better than most. I only skipped one story completely, and really enjoyed about 75% of them, with the remaning 25% varying from so-so to OK-but-not-great. Definitely worth the read, and it did move some of the side stories forward.
