I bought a Kobo Touch a few weeks ago. It stopped responding just occasionally at first (hard to say though as I wasn't using it regularly as I was reading a book on my Kindle). Then when I was using it more, it was doing it a least once a day so I decided to return it. I exchanged it for a new one just over a week ago and the new one hasn't done it once yet!!
And I've been using it at least twice a day since I exchanged it.
Maybe some are worse than others??
