Maybe I'm missing something. When you said "So you'd prefer to wait every time, you query if mom's sent the recipe [...]", you didn't mean "you" as in me, but a person who has an iPhone 4S?

What I trying to point out in my previous post is that I don't understand what I would "wait" for. Email notifications would tell me if I have received an email.
