Absolutely correct - employees told me they could sell all they had, but they couldn't get regular supplies, and cooperation from Sony was awful - they were happy to contact Sony with complaints etc... for customers,but never got support back.

And, only one person ever seemed to know how to use and demo readers.
By the end, they were selling all sorts of readers, and not very well, I'm afraid.

But I think the Sony relationship was a sad disaster, mainly, IMO because of the lack of "interest" shown by the manufacturers.

But this Amazon deal seems very one-sided - I really only see a plus in it for one partner, and it's not the minor one.
Above all, I can't see it costing Amazon a great deal from their side - because they don't really need it.
