If you mean the data plate; It can be almost anywhere, but usually on the back or some
other out of the way place. Most of the time there are a bunch of the standards icons
and the UL cert, also the input power requirements. It used to usually appear on a
metallic sticker. The one for my ASUS EEE Pad Transformer is on a strip of transparent
tape, along the bottom of the backside.

Under that it says EDU.12 for the model number.
