Last week Sony.ca had the T1 on sale for $119.99, and that combined with a $25 of coupon (SHARE2012MAY or something similar, I don't recall at the moment) reduced the price before tax to $95 (including basic shipping). But then I took too long to pull the trigger and the price went back to $149.99. I was pretty disappointed at that point cause I had decided against the Kobo at that point, but I also didn't want to spend $125 either.
But it turned out that Dell.ca also had the PRS-T1 on sale at $109 for the Red (back ordered 5-7 days), $119 for the Black (available immediately) and $149 for the white. I looked online to find a coupon code and I found one for $15, I tested it- and it worked. Then I just had to decide between red and black. The red one was cheaper but it was going to be 5-7 days until it would be ready to ship. I wasn't sure if I wanted a red reader, so I decided to spend the extra $10 and get the Black one.
According to Dell.ca it should arrive on Friday, but since we live on Vancouver Island I think I'll probably have to wait until Monday or Tuesday next week. Once it arrives and I've had a bit of time to use it I'll review and compare it to the Kobo Wifi.
