Everywhere I read about Calibre, people are talking about how it's possible to convert all kinds of formats -- .doc, etc. -- into .mobi. However, so far as I can see, it only converts .txt (which is basically pointless, since there are no links in the resulting document anyway, so you have what you started out with), fb2, and pdf.

Can someone please tell me if other formats (such as .doc) can be converted, and if so, how the heck you can do it? Thanks!
