I was using 7 monitors when I had linux mint in the VM and Win7 64-bit underneath. When I reversed it and put linux in control of the hardware, it was hard enough getting nVidia and Radeon cards to work so I could even get 4 of them working, and I needed one of my "video card" slots for my revodrive ssd. Putting linux in control was a mixed blessing...
