Mine just bricked itself. (And it never got any better since their second fw and if anything went downhill!)
1. Factory Reset -> Restoring to Factory blah blah... -> flashy LED -> power off
2. if you power on goto step 1
Thing's a total POS as is their firmware.
So tomorrow morning I'll be out and moving onto a Nook Touch or another Sony as both are actual quality *gasp* yes quality devices unlike this POS which has been nothing but trouble. (I've had mine since July 2011 and had their older WiFi reader which was OK(crappy fw again but not nearly as craptastic as their touch. I know that I'd be able to get warranty but I've had it with their crap quality, so it's not even worth the money to ship it to them to "fix"(i.e. replace with another new or refurbished one).
