Given the thread title, yes, it's on-topic. But the thread title is inflammatory and unnecessary. The OP article originated on the LAPTOP magazine web site. The opinion piece has no more to do with FoxNews than do hard news Associated Press articles, some of which I found when, as research for this post, I used Calibre to download current FoxNews content to my Kindle.

My advice to cassidym: In the future, avoid picking up items from web sites with a strong political reputation. Instead, use google to find an identical, or similar, item from a source that is, or at least seems to be, politically neutral.
Having said that, I agree with everyone that the OP article is mistaken.
