Robert Hugh Benson (18 November 1871 – 19 October 1914) was an Anglican Priest who converted to catholicism.
St. Thomas of Canterbury (Thomas Becket; December 21, 1118 – December 29, 1170) was Archbishop of Canterbury from 1162 to 1170. He engaged in a conflict with King Henry II over the rights and privileges of the Church and was assassinated by followers of the king in Canterbury Cathedral. Soon after his death, he was canonized by Pope Alexander III. He is venerated as a saint and martyr by both the Catholic Church and the Anglican Communion.
