I finished _Darkness at the Edge of Town_ by J. Carson Black. I rated it 2.5 out of 5.

This is the story of Laura Cardinal, a DPS (Dept of Public Safety) investigator in Arizona investigating the Murder of a young girl. The trail leads her to several states trying to find what "might" be a serial killer.

For a book included in the Amazon "thriller" set this book was a bit slow. There was some action towards the end which did keep me reading. However, there are much better books in this genre... so you won't miss much if you skip it.

I have started on the next book in the set, _Watch me Die_ by Lee Goldberg. It has a better start and promises to be a good read. I hope so.
