Hence the desire to keep collections of books on SD cards, ideally less than 2gb each--cards allow a themed collection (all the scifi, or all classics, or textbooks-and-other-nonfic) without having to reload the main device, and without having to use up processor power sorting through them when you want to be reading something else.
For years now, none of the ereaders have had firmware that can cope with a reader loaded to capacity with ebooks. Waiting for the one with a nightlight isn't going to fix that; the manufacturers are pushing lights-and-video much more than better book support.
