Get Aldiko and try these instructions. You don't need to "plug in"to transfer books to a tablet, you can transfer wirelessly. Aldiko puts the book right on the bookshelf when you bring it in from Calibre. It also allows you to bring in library/DRM books when you input your ADE username and password in Settings.
