I'm grandpa. Been retired now since 2001.
Just bought my e-reader and my first ebook reads were the 7 Harry Potter series. I didn't think they were for seniors, but I thoroughly enjoyed them.
I like Mystery/Detective/Lawyer books.
In my real life, I was an Engineer and traveled a lot. Read paperbacks on those long flights.
My bride and I have nine grandchildren. We like cooking gourmet meals, traveling,bridge, photography, Photoshop, Church, yardwork, flowers etc and of course READING.
