I installed SDC_Watchdog, which unfortunately didn't solve the issue,
but rather confirmed the somehow mysterious behavior of my SDC slot.
If I use the same SD card putting it in and out several times, it will most often
be recognized as "write protected" with a few exceptions.
At first I hoped this was merely a software problem to be solved in a future firmware update, but now it seems the fault is with the hardware.
