The William Burroughs section of our latest issue got an excellent write-up by David Ulin of the
L.A. Times. Ulin talks about the difficulties of interviewing the perversely taciturn author of
Naked Lunch, which Ulin, too, experienced on a visit to W.B.'s residence in Lawrence, Kansas.

Interesting, too, that Ulin mentions SF writer, critic and itinerant funster, Charles Platt. I wasn't aware the latter attempted to interview Mr. Burroughs, but it appears Mr. Platt had a rougher time of it than practically anyone else.
