Question re: text clarity

I have been reading a lot about text clarity on the new Nook Glowlight and have a question? How does the clarity of the text compare between the 1st Gen Nook and the Nook Glowlight?

I am on the waiting list for the NSTG because I do most of my reading in bed, and because my faithful old Nook is getting rundown.

Hear great things about NST. Since the Glow version is so new, would I be better off getting the NST or splurging on the Glow?
