I could only assume that by releasing a later book in a series if you like it then you go back and pick up the rest. But on the flip side because it is #7 alot people may pass because they would have to buy the previous 6. I have found myself picking up a print book not realizing it is midway thru a series and then going back and picking up the rest. Most recently Stephen White has a series where the main character is Dr. Alan Gregory there are 15 books in that series and the first 3 are only in print. The rest are at the Sony and Kindle Store. By the way I DOWNLOADED IT!
