I'm afraid that there isnt a solution... HTML was made for "endless" pages accessing the hidden content by scrolling, not by flipping pages. eBook Readers do have fixed pages without being able to scroll...
float does only help with left and right, but not with top or bottom...
As i said i only have little hope that there is a solution available
