Following instructions to introduce myself.
Am trying to learn more about ePub. I have a Kindle (second gen I think), and have mostly downloaded free content from Project Gutenberg (lots of interesting stuff).
I am involved with the Scribus project, and certainly one finds readily that PDFs on a Kindle don't work well. I've also tried PressBooks, but so far there are few controls on the ePub output. Also, if I understand correctly, one is limited to 3 "free" books on the PressBooks site, after which I don't know what happens...
I've written a LOT of documentation for Scribus (including co-author of the 400+ page official manual), so I have been experimenting with creating ePub format material, and it looks like Sigil would be very useful for this.
I also use my Kindle for keeping a list of various reservations, flight info, etc., when I travel -- very handy for this. I use calibre to convert ePub to Mobi.
