Google Earth gets better with updated data
Great news... Google Earth just got better! They've added/updated data for existing and new cities. For instance, major cities like NYC and Chicago can be zoomed even closer now! From Keyhole:

This new database has over 100 added/updated cities. It also updates the BBS layers to a snapshot from August 5th.
For new users, this will be your first major database update... enjoy!
NOTE: the new data should appear automatically. No software update is required.
