You said that you were pressing '+' to darken your text, and this is the opposite direction from how NORMAL gamma correction works.
ALSO, the K3 has an inverted framebuffer (unless you override that), so any gamma correction should be done after inverting the image so it is no longer a negative.
Those are facts, and not speculation. Either you have it wrong about the "+" button to darken the text, or the software has it defined backwards, or the software is incorrectly adjusting the negative (inverted) image instead of a positive image.
No speculation -- just stating facts. And while your reply appears to be a useless implied "RTFM" rejection, showing that you do not intend to see if any of my suggestions are valid and can enhance the software, your reply also DID NOT answer any of my questions, making your reply less than worthless.
@aliabbasjp: YOU are the one asking how to save the default gamma setting. If you are going to give "please try first before speculating" comments, then I need to ask you, WHAT did you try before asking others how to change the default gamma? Did you TRY editting a config file as I suggested to you in my previous post? Are you going to try that? Or are you asking OTHERS to try it for you and TELL you if it worked or not? Around here we have a saying about "glass houses" and "throwing stones". You should look it up...
It looks like you need to read the README and source code yourself (or convince somebody ELSE to do it for you). I do not have time to read it for you to answer your question, mostly because your attitude implied by your reply has gotten me angry now and it is interfering with my serenity.
