Bilbo, many of my UK friends have said that they watched the show. It must have aired for a period of time in the UK, but I have no idea of how long. Even the author, Stephen Leather, used the 'have gun, will travel' line in one of his books.
However, in case this proves out to be to localized, and as it's my bedtime, please feel free to post another question. I'll post the answer to this one in about 8 hours.
