My friends are nagging at me to create a video trailer....
How many of you watch "book trailers"? And do they really influence your decision to read a book or not?
I really would like to show that this isnt just another mythological book about Medusa.
It is a story of a girl (with all the human emotions, doubts and fears) is thrown into unwelcomed circumstances due to the misguided actions of others.
Throughout life, we are thrown into so many different situations... Each time we are faced with the choice, to adapt and thrive or breakdown and fade away... Even the strongest of personalities can be broken at one time or another... That feeling that you just dont care anymore, your brain goes on "shutdown"... And you become a more aggressive, less caring indivudual... Even inside if you still feel that, "this isnt me..." you dont care enough to change. You are hurt and disorientated and you want to lash back out at the world that did this to you....
This is my Medusa. For all the magic and promise; there is always disappointment and unjustified victimization...
I want the reader to feel what she feels... Empathy it is a very human trait and you will find Medusa is a very human character...
