Smurf & Smurfette here, 2 brand new eReader owners after wanting one for years!
I am a retired pro musician that likes to read a lot, but I mainly got an eReader for all the PDF manuals I have from software & hardware purchases for the studio, it just got to be too much of a pain sitting in front of the screen & reading them.
We just picked up 2 Pandigital novel eReaders for $80 at Ollies Outlet stores, and so far have been pretty happy with them.
I tried using calibre to convert the PDF's but no go, and to make a LONG story short, I found a post on here that a feller said he was having great luck using Mobipocket, and then calibre, to do conversions, and it was right on for most every PDF I have converted to ePub. I will post a workaround I have found for a few other formats in a few days....
Anyway, I look forward to lurking for a few & jumping in when I can.
