Do all our bases really belong to Microsoft? (Microsoft EULA)

Hi guys,

I hope this is the right forum area for this I just wanted to know if anyone had an opinion on the topic of whether Microsoft-generated word documents belong to Microsoft or the user who created the content?

I've read the EULA... but INAL so its all a bit of a blur to me. I was under the impression that Microsoft can't touch your own user generated content, but I know there are people out there who think otherwise.

For example, if I sold a word document via the internet with the worlds greatest haiku, could Microsoft use that haiku, or indeed, block me from selling a word document?

I know that some MS Office editions are non-commercial/educational, but mine isn't non-commercial-use only.

I hope you guys can shine a light on this topic.

Cheers,
Stodder
