Not sure how well known a bit of trivia this is, but Stringer Davis who played Margaret Rutherford's sidekick (Mr. Stringer) in the Marple films was her hubbie in real life.
On the topic of Agatha Christie; I recently watched Rene Clair's film of 'And Then There Were None' which was very good.
'Witness for the Prosecution' is another Christie adaptation worth a watch on a rainy afternoon
