I do not watch so much anime since for me it is missing some dimension (like a coherrent plot or emotional engagement :-) But I thought Lucky Star series was absolutely briliant. It was conversation based and had a kind of humor that suited me perfectly. And it did not have any silly plot that disturbed the good things...
The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya was also pretty good.
Any other series to recommend for people liking the two series above?
