Took a screw driver to it, checked the connections and did the battery reset, no change. Working on updating it now.
No there is no blinking light in the top right hand corner.
Still playing with it but I think its DOA.
I hope someone brings out another dual book, the system is idea for students and people in science and engineering fields. That was the problem why it's not made any more, I think. It was not for entertainment so much as for work. Sad really says a bit about the society we have now, to much fun and games and not too much work.
