Content is the main issue. From what I have read here, you can put content from Gutenberg, Munseys, etc... on both without too much difficulty.
How about .doc format? Can also be put on both with conversion it looks like.
Obviously I went with the Cybook. I did this because I wanted to be able to buy Best Seller ebooks from more than 1 store. Cybook reads Mobipocket ebooks so I can price shop and buy ebooks from several different ebook stores. The Sony 505 limits you to the Sony store for DRM books unless you are willing to format shift and removing the DRM in the process.

There have been a lot of threads about issues with the Cybook, stiff buttons and missed button presses and other software type issues. The latest firmware update seems to have fixed most of the software issues that I have read about, I certainly haven't had any missed button pushes lately and my bookmarking has always worked great. The stiff button issue went away when they released the updated Cybook with more internal memory.

I would not hesitate to recommend the Cybook to anyone. In fact at the last Customer Training I went to I was handing out the Bookeen.com link to anyone that showed an interest in my Cybook.
