Hi!
I've been reading on electronic devices since I got my first Palm III. Moving from application to application over the years, until I finally settled on first Kindle apps (on a wide selection of iDevices) and recently a Kindle Touch 3G.
I have always been a voracious reader, but have in recent years not read as much as I used to. It has however been my experience that the Kindle Touch has made me read more - perhaps because it is a single use device, so that you are not tempted to check email, read Web pages etc etc. My discovery of MLP:FiM fan fiction has certainly not dampened my enthusiasm (while I have been a fan of many things over the years (I'm 41), MLP:FiM is in a class of its own).
Anyhoo, have been using Calibre for a few years, and while its interface is something only a mother could love, the sheer utility of the program makes up for it. It is, in that regard, similar to another favorite application, Emacs.
