Ok, I counted. 115 purchased books this year so far.
The most common price was $0.99 from Amazon Daily Deals (30 Ed McBain books, for instance), Poisoned Pen Press monthly sales, and the occasional first-in-series books or ebook month sales. Only 5 were full priced agency books (2 were books a friend wrote, 2 were for a bookclub, 1 was a reward after using 90% coupons at Kobo). The mid-priced ones were either publisher sales at $3.99 and under or Kobo coupon purchases.
I'm not going broke buying books at an average price of around $2. Now to read them. Since a few were purchased as gifts for my husband and/or father,
my books from the haul are around 80. This past weekend I relocated to my summer cabin and I expect to burn through 100 books before the snow flies, so I'm all set. Assuming there are no more sales and I stop buying books. Yeah, that's likely.
