I don't even know how many ebooks I have, I haven't actually counted. I get a lot of freebies. Actually, the Sony book store has a lot, and it's more easily searchable than Kobo's. Most of my books are in my Sony Library on my laptop, as well as on my eReaders, but I've also downloaded directly to my Vox from my Mantano (sp?) app. If it's a book I know I'm only going to read once and if I can do so within 2 weeks, I check my library first and download it to Overdrive.
I try to use Kobo's discount coupons, but they can't be used on many of the books I want, so I have bitten the bullet and paid full price. This weekend, when doing that I decided I would set a $20/month limit on my ebook buying. We'll see how that goes.

Welcome to the thread. My feeling is the free ebooks don't count, so don't feel bad about getting freebies.
It's a good idea (IMO) to keep a list (in some way) of the unread books you've got, so you can quickly look through the list to choose your next book.
I'm trying not to buy ebooks at the moment, unless they're from a favourite author/series or on my wishlist
and at a good discount.
But good Kobo discount codes, especially expiring ones, are getting me to buy. Most recently, David Weber's
Out of the Dark.
