I retract my earlier recommended hardware solution (microwave oven) after realizing that the critical IC components are shielded from RF energy in the wifi band, which is the same frequency as microwave ovens (which is why it is open to the public).

So... I am leaning more toward my other permanent solution now (thermite), but it may be harder to obtain the thermite ingredients than cement and mortar in some jurisdictions.
