I got the update after plugging in my Fire to charge and then shutting it down completely to charge overnight. When I cold started it the next day it rebooted and installed the updates over the auir. I believe I left the wifi on instead of turning it off as I usually do when I warm turn it off at night to charge. I didnt know there was an update this time until it started rebooting and told me it was installing.
Will report on any changes. My biggest complaint is the autocorrect keyboard not being able to be turned off even though you have the option to in there.
