Definitely proven - my people are barren.
I missed a cycle at night (and luckily did not get whacked either) and in the morning all the stats were the same as I left them, exept for bliss loss ca 4000.
@ Crusader - Is it a hint that you need bliss boost? (storms enthusiastically to the hoard)
