If I can find a cover image greater then 1024 lines, I reduce it down to 1024.
This is the code used for the latest eBook I've finished editing tonight. I know the cover image is larger then 1024. I was just too lazy to reduce it in size.
Code:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:ops="http://www.idpf.org/2007/ops" xmlns:svg="http://www.w3.org/2000/svg" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">
<head>
<title>Blood Rites</title>
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="../Styles/BloodRites.css" />
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="application/xhtml+xml; charset=UTF-8" />
</head>
<body style="margin-top: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; text-align: center; background-color: #FFFFFF;">
<div><svg:svg width="100%" height="100%" viewBox="0 0 825 1200"><svg:image xlink:href="../Images/MSRCover.jpg" transform="translate(0 0)" width="825" height="1200" /></svg:svg></div>
</body>
</html>
