Clearly you have not read some of the Amazon Kindle topics otherwise you would realize that there are plenty of folks at this site who are pretty strongly opposed to Amazon. There is no moderation bias, that I can see. People happen to have strong feelings regarding Apple and Amazon.

I have been known to go a little over board defending Amazon and have had a Mod or two talk to me. I happen to know that there are plenty of folks on the board who have been suspended or banned for their personal attacks on folks that came in topics that were anti-Apple, anti-Amazon, and a few others.

It is legitimate for people to love Apple and their products and it is legitimate for people to dislike Apple and their products. They tend to provoke strong emotions. Generally speaking, yelling at folks does little to change their opinion.
