Usually I agree that first one should try to find the answer to a problem by yourself. However, in this case it is not apparent where to look for the answer. It is not mentioned anywhere that the M92 is covered en detail in the mobileread wiki (and no, it's not obvious that the wiki would even have a detailed entry on the M92). Furthermore, the problem as such is not mentioned in the wiki either (please point me to the respective entry; I searched for "change", "sleep", and "stand" (as in stand-by) on the wishlist page, and there is nothing about that.
And last, you can't seriously expect somebody to read all the entries in this humungous thread.
If I didn't know that the problem exists and can't be easily fixed (apart from loading Tiny File Manager into the firmware archive), I wouldn't know where to look at myself.
