Or targeted viruses.
Many of the "everyone gets a computer" or "everyone gets a Kindle" programs have not worked out well. Doesn't mean they can't in the future, but this whole ebook technology is in a flux right now. And if the think the publishers dug in about publishing fiction ebooks just wait til you see what they do with Technical and Scholastic books.
