There may be other places with a real, but
Spain certainly used to have the real as a unit of currency.
(I know that one because I published a book about George Borrow in Spain in the 19th Century.
19th Century Spanish currency was a mess. There was a whole mass of coinage from various times and places. But the base was the Real, worth 34 Maravedis. And there was also the Peso, not a coin but used in banking and exchange purposes, worth 512 maravedis. Note that 512 isn't a multiple of 34!)
