I'm finding Summer Knight a rather hard read. Not because of the story, but because of the very poor formatting. Seems the idiots at the publishers used a PDF file as the source and because of that, italics and small caps are messed up. I've fixed what I thought were most of the errors ahead of time, but there are more.

The italics originally had no space before and whatever was in front ran into the italics. Now I find anything with small caps have no space in front. Also, the italics all have a space after so if there's a period after, it is spaced.

All of this just makes for annoying reading. Can we shoot the idiots who approved this monstrosity?

Are any other of the books that follow on from Summer Knight this bad? I'm reading the ePub.
