I'm a friend of Alf, yes. I read books on both my Sony 350 and my kindle. I often buy books from places like Baen, but have rarely (never?) purchased books from B&N, because I don't like their store interface. I have purchased books from Kobo that I couldn't find anywhere else.
I guess I can just ignore the sequestered memory and pretend it doesn't exist, at least until a root is found for the Glow.
