Ooh, yeah, on the home page, they show 4-5 books based on your last purchase. To tell you the truth, I almost never notice it because I am usually either on a page in the book, or in the library app. I admit, the B&N hidden memory is mildly annoying, but if you're switching from Kindle to Nook, that means you're probably going to be using something like Calibre and *mumble* tools to convert your Kindle formatted ebooks to epub and sideload them to an SD card. With my Nook, I can keep my entire library at hand, as long as I don't go over 32GB.
If you were not planning on converting your existing library to epub, it might be possible to run the Android Kindle app on your Nook Glow some day, but I think it's unlikely you'd be able to root it on day one.
