I am very enthusiastic about the idea - I have covers with lights on all my ebook readers. But from all images I see, this is just as annoying as reading on an iPad or any other LCD. The whole point of an eink device is that it is easier on the eyes... and that is due, at least partially, to the fact that no light is shining in your face. From all the images I see, I might as well read on my iPad. Which I do not like doing.
