My only catch is that I was relying on gifts for Military, and then got hit with a Rogue Agent when I had over 3 million in cash - damn that can suck a lot of Military, so I think I'm going to be building Military and energy for a bit.

I'm not sure if I'm going to go too far on Alliances myself, I have 20 and could do more - but I agree that it stops being cost-effective after a bit.
