Exactly.
Publishers reported almost $100 M worth of new adult ebooks were sold in January and $200 M worth of paper books in the same category. That was a 50% increase in ebooks and a small increase in paper books from a year earlier. People are buying more books, so if they are reading public domain works it isn't cutting into book sales, it is in addition to book sales.
