Yes, exactly why I bought one... the fact that I'm a principle software engineer and one of the lead architects for an international medical company and actually know a bit about computers didn't sway me at all, I still blindly forged forward and purchased an iPhone just for the shiny logo.
You know who else was mesmerized by that shiny Apple logo? Herb Sutter, the chair of the C++ standards committee (C++ is a programming language used in some of the most demanding computing applications ever). Even fear of losing his job as lead software architect on C++/CLI compilers at
